At Ifeel, we offer two main therapy modalities: text therapy and video therapy. It’s important to note that both plans are not compatible, meaning you cannot have a text therapy plan and a video therapy plan active at the same time. Below, we explain the key differences between the two:
1. Text Therapy
Modality: Therapy is conducted exclusively through the chat with your therapist.
Interactions: You can write as many times as you want, and your therapist will respond with a minimum of 3 interventions per week.
Purpose of the chat: The chat is designed for therapeutic purposes, where you can express your thoughts, emotions, and work on the key aspects of your concerns.
Does not include video calls: If you want to have video call sessions, you’ll need to switch to a video therapy plan.
2. Video Therapy
Modality: Therapy is conducted through 40-minute video call sessions with your therapist.
Interactions: The chat with your therapist is not intended for therapeutic purposes as in text therapy. Instead, the chat is used exclusively for:
Scheduling sessions.
Reporting issues.
Organizational purposes.
Does not include text therapy: If you prefer to work in writing, you’ll need to switch to a text therapy plan.
