If you are experiencing difficulties with app notifications, here's how you can address some common issues:
I do not receive notifications in the app
If you are not receiving notifications from the app, the first step is to do some checking:
- If you access through the web, there is no notification reception, notifications are only sent by email.
- Make sure you have the latest version of the app installed on your device.
- Make sure that the app notifications are activated in your mobile device settings.
- If problems persist, try uninstalling and then reinstalling the app.
I receive notifications for unread messages I have already read
If you are receiving notifications about pending messages even though you have already read them, follow these steps:
- If you have the notifications activated, whenever you have any pending messages you will receive daily notifications that you have unread messages from your therapist. If you do not want to receive this or other notifications from the app, you can go to "More" > "Notifications" and turn notifications off.
- Make sure that all pending messages have been marked as read.
- If the notification persists after you have read all messages, it is possible that there is a message that the system has not yet marked as "read". These notifications usually disappear after 7 days.
