Video sessions on Ifeel are a therapy modality that allows you to work with your therapist through video calls in a comfortable and secure way. Here’s how they work and how you can make the most of them:
1. Communication through the chat with your therapist
Once connected with your therapist, you can use the asynchronous chat to:
Greet your therapist.
Propose availability to schedule the video call.
Share any relevant or urgent information before the session.
Remember, this chat is asynchronous, so your therapist will not respond instantly but will review your messages and reply as soon as possible.
2. Duration of video sessions
Each video session lasts 40 minutes, providing enough time to work on the goals agreed upon with your therapist.
3. How to schedule a video session
You can schedule a video session in two ways:
Using the calendar icon:
At the top of the chat with your therapist, you’ll find a calendar icon.
Click on it to view your therapist’s availability and select the time that works best for you.
Directly through the chat: Write to your therapist in the chat to coordinate the date and time of the session together.
4. How to join the session
Once the video session is scheduled and your therapist has started the call, a red banner will appear at the top of the chat with your therapist.
This banner will include a button that says "Join the session".
Click on the button to access the video call with your therapist.
5. Confidentiality and security
All interactions, including video sessions, are conducted within the Ifeel platform to ensure the security and confidentiality of your data.
